Emma R. Cobian

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In 2024, I received my PhD from the University of Notre Dame in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics, advised by Professor Jonathan Hauenstein. With a focus in applied mathematics, my dissertation is titled “Optimization Techniques for Inference and Parameter Recovery.”

A publicly available Python package that incorporates a surrogate model with AdaAnn scheduler for computationally expensive model evaluations underlying a posterior distribution.
